The Dangers of Cocoa, Chocolate and Caffeine to Dogs

Cocoa and chocolate contain theobromine and caffeine, which are harmless to humans but highly toxic to dogs and even small quantities can cause cardiac arrest, organ failure and in an alarming number of cases, death. The Veterinary Poisons Information Service in London recieve thousands of calls every year regarding dogs who have consumed human chocolate or cocoa products, often with fatal results. Symptoms of chocolate poisoning include restlessness, diarrhoea, vomiting and convulsions, and if you think your dog may have eaten human chocolate in any quantity, no matter how small, please contact your vet immediately.

CHUDGY CAKES: Ingredients: wheat flour, wheat bran, flaked rice, sugar, vegetable oil, dried egg, milk powder, raising agents, vanilla extract, soya lecithin, emulsifiers, Dogolate™ (carob and milk based chocolate substitutes), sugar and rice sprinkles, natural preservative. May contain dried fruits, may contain nuts. Shelf life 4 weeks when kept refrigerated. May be frozen up to 3 months. Consume within 3 days of opening.
